What is Glyphosate?
Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide sprayed on crops and plants to kill weeds in the World. It is estimated that over 300 million pounds of this toxic chemical are sprayed nationwide each year. It is pervasively sprayed on crops, weeds, lawns, fields, parks, playgrounds, and more.
In 2015 the WHO(World Health Organization) declared glyphosate a “probable Carcinogen”
Where is it hiding?

By far you will find the most glyphosate in Genetically Modified foods or (GMOs).
This active ingredient in roundup is sprayed on many common crops that make it into our food supply. In fact, according to the Center for Food Safety, it is estimated that 75% of processed foods like soda, cereals, snack bars, chips, soups, and condiments contain GMO ingredients.
GMO crops are specifically engineered to withstand huge amounts of this herbicide in order to kill the weeds without ruining the crop. So what does this mean? Basically, the GMO crops are drinking the roundup and depositing it into the food we eat. According to Dr. Stephanie Seneff, Senior Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology(MIT), there is a strong correlation between the rise in glyphosate use since the mid 70’s and the rise in many chronic illnesses such as Cancer, Allergies, Asthma, digestive issues, Autism, ADHD, Alzheimer’s and many more. This is no coincidence, there is a reason that chronic disease affects 133 million Americans and growing. That is why it is absolutely critical that we stay educated, spread awareness, and make constant demands of our Government to protect the safety and integrity of our food supply.

- 94% of all Corn in the United States(this means corn oil, cornflour, corn syrup…any derivative or corn)

Many non-GMO crops are sprayed with glyphosate right before harvest as part of the desiccation(or drying) process which is used to speed up ripening time and inhibit the growth of microorganisms. This CANNOT be washed off.

Trusted household names like Quaker Oats, Kellogg’s Cereal and Granola Bars, Cheerios, Nature Valley Granola Bars, and Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats just to name a few were laden with a hefty dose of the this Cancer-Causing Carcinogen.
What can I do to avoid Glyphosate?
Eat Organic foods whenever possible – while even some foods labeled Organic can have a trace amount of glyphosate residue from Cross Contamination, they are usually guaranteed to be free of harmful toxins.
